French left-wing parties including the Socialist Party, the French Communist Party, the Greens (EELV) and France Unbowed presented a united front Monday evening, a day after President Emmanuel Macron called for snap legislative elections.
b1) Eric Ciotti (President of ‘Les Republicans’ centre right party) is at loggerheads with the other leaders of his party. He has instituted a referendum of members to join with Marine Le Pen’ party [RN] in the upcoming elections. Within a few hours he had 10,000 supporters.
b2) Meanwhile to the ‘right’ of Marine Le Pen [RN] there is turmoil.

This slanderous statement is only the first step in a rallying of those close to Marion Maréchal to the RN to obtain constituencies, as we are already learning in the press.

After the tumults of the last 72 hours involving the RN and Reconquest, a new twist is energizing the legislative campaign. In recent hours, those close to Marion Maréchal have begged the RN for nominations in view of the upcoming elections. For the moment, under the mediation of Kévin Pfeffer, treasurer of the party, Jordan Bardella has granted the precious sesame to several close to Marion Maréchal, including Agnès Marion (7th on Marion Maréchal’s European list), Thibaut Monnier (general director of ISSEP), Anne Sicard, and Eddy Casterman (former member of the LR). And according to Marion Maréchal’s entourage, it would not be over, other names could follow.
After the events of recent days, Marion Maréchal had warned that a choice was available to her and that she would not let this historic opportunity pass and to participate in a union of the right…
